Dental Mission Trip - October 2023

This past October we had the amazing opportunity to bring a team of dentists on a mission trip to Guatemala. It was such a blessing for them to serve our kids and families! In Guatemala, dental care is a big need, with very few free dental care programs the need for private dental care becomes very evident. This need is even bigger in rural areas such as the communities where One More Child works in. Many kids and adults are in constant pain because they can't afford visiting the dentist which leads to having to have teeth extracted by the time they receive the care they need. Our dental team cared for 88 children and 16 parents. Which translates into: 66 cleanings; 94 extractions; and, 29 fillings. We thank God for his provision all the time!
